Freshly Diced Hot Sauce began in a tiny Toronto kitchen with two strong creative instincts, one shared stove, and no interest in making just another hot sauce.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Patrick and Priya, Freshly Diced is built on a simple belief: Heat should serve flavour, not overpower it.

Like many hot sauce lovers, they always had bottles on hand but could never quite find what they were looking for on market shelves. What started as butting heads over technique and balance became their shared love language, and ultimately, a flavour-first approach built on that spark that flirts back and keeps you coming back for more.

Patrick and Priya never followed a prescribed script.

Instead of a ring, they got a dog.
Instead of buying a house, they built a business.

Freshly Diced is the result of choosing creativity, autonomy and craft, and committing to build something together from the ground up.

The People Behind the Sauce

Patrick brings over 25 years of culinary experience to Freshly Diced, guided by creativity, instinct and an uncompromising standard for flavour. As a professionally trained chef, he approaches food as both craft and expression. He is also a music producer and sound engineer, a practice that informs his sense of balance, clarity and restraint. Having recently stepped away from the music industry to focus on Freshly Diced and building his family, Patrick now channels that creative energy fully into the sauces he creates.

Priya began cooking at the age of five, feeding a family of four after the loss of her mother. Today, she brings that lived understanding of food together with a full-time career in communications and marketing, shaping Freshly Diced with the same clarity, discipline and intention she applies to building brands professionally.

Together, they develop each sauce through real testing, real meals and constant refinement.
